Using smuggled footage, this critically acclaimed documentary tells the story of the 2007 protests in Burma by thousands of Burmese monks. This film was short-listed for an Oscar.
Following the film screening, Seattle University will host a panel that will include Venerable U Pyinya Zawta, Director in Exile of the All Burma Monks’ Alliance and the leader of the 2007 Saffron Revolution
