Never
Again: Students Explore the Slavery Experience:
5th graders from Eric Ensey's class at Endeavor Elementary School
in Issaquah, Washington developed this web page on slavery.
When Ensey discovered that the social studies textbook devoted little
space to this crucial topic, he and his students conducted their
own research. Their reports are now featured on Africana.com,
a web site devoted to African American history and culture.
